In 1891 The Lincoln Table became the second club table to be formed in the Union League. Our group is now the oldest and has grown to include over 140 men and women members

The facts surrounding our origin is the product of research by archivist James Mundy and was recorded in the Union League Banner of February 2000. The founders, all close friends - determined to form a club within the League where they could join together at lunch, enjoy continuing fellowship and bring other members into the group. Organized as it was on the birthday of the great Civil War President by admirers of Abraham Lincoln, it seemed very special and natural to name the group The Lincoln Table. In January 1997, The Union League Table joined the Lincoln Table. Today that camaraderie still exists as the members enjoy their fellowship around the lunch table each day.

The Lincoln Table is a social group that enjoys the friendship of one another beyond the lunch table. We offer various events during the year at interesting off site locations with our spouses as well as at members' homes.
